Today was held in Sarcol an info session about the new law about Data Protection, conducted by Dr Pedro Verde Pinho from the lawyer firm Morais Leitão.
The RGPD goes into effect on the 25th of May 2018 and replaces the current data protection law. From that date onwards, the companies that do not follow the new law will be subjected to fines.
This way it was possible to enlighten our resident companies what challenges this new law might impose and to clear up any specific doubts.
We hope it was very useful!
From our side, we shall be attentive to other themes of common interest as it is our intention to be useful in elucidating our resident companies to similar themes.
